Another Day of Bows!!

Today was another good one in the land of off days! I made a few bows and talked with an old friend I haven't seen in forever!!!! We should be getting together this weekend for a little war! Also today was kinda sad Court!  went on a cruise and will miss GNB!! But on the upside be expecting a post when she gets back about how awesome it was!!!!! (also hopefully presents from far away lands!) We had Long John Silvers for dinner and I dropped my whole plate in the floor! Luckily I have an awesome husband and he gave me all his french fries!!! I love him lol! (I think I might be going overboard with !!!!!) any ways... Here's some pics of the bows I did today!

These are for my boss's daughter! They match her soft ball uniform. These are also the first of this style bow I've made from ribbon! I think I did a pretty good job!

(Tutorial on this-easy to do! Just scroll down.)

I used my NEW wires cutters and pliers on this one! I was excited!

                                      Here goes the how to:
I started with two pieces of ribbon about 10"ish.

Next I folded one in half to find the center. Then placed two drops of hot glue on each side of the fold line. Then just folded the edges and placed on glue.

Like so....

All that's left really besides adding a clippy is to tie your second piece of ribbon around the loop you've made. It might take a little of wiggling around to get it just right!

Then I hot glued this felt to the back to hold everything in place so I could even out (cut) the ends of the second strip.

I always burn the edges of the ribbon so it doesn't fray. (Be careful my dad says if you play with fire you'll pee in the bed!) You don't have to touch the fire to the ribbon just hold it close and you'll see it shrinking up.

Then just add the clippy!!!

Tuesday=Nailday

I love trying new stuff on my nails!! So when Court said hey let's do these newspaper nails I found on Cute Polish  I was all alright! They're super cute and super easy I loved that part!
Okay so I have serious problem choosing a color sometimes, and since this was the first time doing the newspaper nails I wasn't sure which colors it would look best on. I used 10 different colors! This way at least a few would look good no matter what! All you really need is one super light colored polish, some newspaper and some isopropyl alcohol.
From left to right Sinful Colors-Beautiful Girl, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Mint Sorbet, Avon Nail Wear Pro-Vintage Blue, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Lacey Lilac, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Wet Cement.
From Right to Left Avon Nail Wear Pro-Jade, Avon Nail Wear Pro-Luxe Lavender,  Sally Henson Xtreme Wear-Marina something mixed with white by  Court, Avon N. W. P.-Peach Passion, and Sally Henson Mellow Yellow mixed with white also by Court.
Once your nails have dried (I used a top coat) put the alcohol on a cotton ball and place your pre-cut newspaper on it to get it wet.
Then put the newspaper on your nail and press. When you pull the paper off just give a second to dry and put a top coat on. Told ya it was super easy!
I got this free in the mail today. Purex with Zoust.

We also made some hair things out of panty hose I'll post those laterz. Another crafty off day!

Mom's Wallet!

I made this wallet on girls night!! It was way easier than I thought it was going to be. I hadn't made a wallet like this before and I've only made one other duck tape wallet. It' s for my mom! It's just gonna be her carhop wallet so it only needs two pockets. She bought the duck tape and I get to keep the leftovers!!! She also thought of those awesome magnetic snaps! I was surprised at how strong hey are. I'm thinking of doing a how to once I've made a few different ones.
I made these yesterday be ready for lots of bows like the one on the bottom because I have a new favorite now!!! The first one I made like the puzzle piece one was on the wallet above. I'm excited about them!

Have I mentioned before that I love free stuff? Because I do! I don't even remember signing up for this and that makes it even better! I haven't seen anything like it before! It's a bag  you can put a sandwich in the toaster with!!!! This way you can have a grilled cheese with pickles in seconds! I haven't tried it yet but I will soon. It says you can use it up to 50 times but we shall see! You should check them out! http://www.jarlsberg.com/

Off Day=Nail Day!

Lately I've only been doing my nails once a week! I know I know you're thinking I must be sick. No just lazy! I haven't even made any bows! I don't know whats happening lately, but no more. Well that's what I say now.

The camera doesn't pick up on how really awesome and shiny they are! I took some pics outside also but they weren't any better.
I used Sally Hansen HD-Spectrum, Finger Paints-Guggen I'm Lime, Pure Ice-Rio, and yet anther color (glitter) from The Color Workshop that doesn't have a name. I sponged on all the colors and painted over with glitter. I did each finger a different color pattern.
I'm still in love with the stars. I used Sinful Colors in Pink Forever and Why Not.
FREE STUFF!!!! Training pads from Purina Pet Gear. It came with two. Now I'll just have to see if my dogs will use them?!
More doggie stuff!!! They loved it, but they'll eat anything! It's from Wellness supposed to be all natural.

OMG! OMG! This pony was in my yard the other morning! It just wandered up! I touched it! It's so cute! I asked Van if we could keep it but alas he said no. sigh...

Atlanta

Well today was my monthly meeting in the ATL! I hate it! Let me start over. I hate the drive down there and really not the drive because my wonderful husband Van drives me! Other drivers scare me to death! I just know that's how I'm gonna die one of the millions of dumb drivers will come up beside us, and I'll be sleeping of course because that's what I do mostly, and their gonna crash into us and we'll go up in a big ball of flames just like that big rig I saw all burnt up on the side of the road today!  My meeting was pretty awesome cause I got a ton of free stuff!
This is Slowtivate it's the oppisit of an energy drink. Their slogan is Cage the Bull!
This is a promo necklace for the slowtivate.

Spark 4D Happy Caps: these are lime flavored capsules. You're supposed to let them dissolve on your tongue. I hear they don't taste good so good luck with that. Their supposed to mellow you out but you'll have to ask someone else because I will not try any of this stuff. I have a stupid stomach and the few things I have tried really messed it up!
Blue lotus pills they look like Zanex so you can guess what they do. but all this is herbal so it's legal.
Zaney bars another Zanex looking pill.
Supa Star It looks like a resin ball. It says not for human consumption but that's only because you don't eat it you smoke it. Also a relaxer. That's all the free stuff from the meeting but when I got home I found some gems from the mail!
Free Kotex U pad!!! Always awesome. They have the best packaging ever! It's the neatest little box.
This is a sticker from www.conservingnow.com. I love that is says bring your own bag!
This pic is from a gas station in Ringgold that was destroyed from the a tornado. I thought I'd throw this in. We drove past on our way to Atlanta. I'm so not ready for work tomorrow!
